still deciding which is best and what he is going for..

I spent way too many hours using

photoshop today.

this was one of the many things I made

playing around.

Self Portrait Assignment

Who knew it could be so hard?

It's hard to set up the camera alone.. no one

in front of it. It's awkward to focus it when no one is there..

It's weird to sit by yourself, press the remote.. and just pose.

Being the model is too hard. I think I'm going

to stick to behind the camera. It's more fun to me.

This assignment was all about the concept..

telling a story. Of course, Just by looking at

these photos you can see a little bit of what it means to me..

but there is a story behind the photos that I understand

and I let the viewers decide for themselves.

of new self portraits I can do, or how I can make these better,

feel free to let me know!! I have a few weeks

until this assignment is due and I'm all about perfection

and making them great...

College assignments

I've loved this assignment..

It's all about non contextual backgrounds.

(Does that even make sense? sure..)

Anyways. I've loved looking at

Jill Greenberg's

work. She's amazing. she does soooo many famous

people/animal's pictures. You have probably seen

her work without even knowing it. I've tried to make a

few of my pictures for this assignment like hers,

but I didn't want to copy exactly.

It's fun doing new things though! check em out!

Just to explain little more,

These pictures are all about showing a story, or an

emotion without the backgrounds help.

The subject is what is important, rather than

the whole pictures, including what surrounds

the subject!

* that's why the pictures are a little goofy!
